Off of LiveJournal and JournalFen, White Serpent is usually known as Avocado-- a triumph in logical name selection.
If it happened in Slayers fandom between July 1998 and February 2001, or in Harry Potter fandom between December 2000 and August 2002, White Serpent was probably hip-deep in it. She's happy not to be remembered for that.
She scoffs at the idea that Fandom Wank has made fandom more unpleasant.
