Badfic

Fanfic that makes you want to pour a bit of bleach in your cranium and keep it there for a while. Until everything's dead.

(Unless, of course, you're a lover of badfic. Then you devour it and laugh and laugh, and defend it to the death.)

One particular form of badfic is "intentional badfic" (sometimes called crackfic), in which an author intentionally writes a horrible story in an attempt to mimic the worst actual badfic s/h/it has ever read. Unfortunately, most intentional badfic falls short of the mark, and instead tends to pathetic, rather than humorous.
