...wait, have we done this before? Whoa, deja vu.
So, what the fuck actually happened?
Sepiamagpie, a Fandom Wank mod, had long been requesting a (mock) banning spree for his birthday, occasionally noting that someone was "on the list". He even posted a poll on FW_Debate. When the date of his birthday arrived, he proceeded to carry out his desires and announced the ban of dozens of wankas, presenting them with a lovely certificate. Sep also banned all of the mods except himself, eljuno and apoplexia.
In an entirely unexpected development, anatsuno banned Sepiamagpie -- entirely unexpected as anatsuno isn't listed as a member of the ModSquad. Or was she covering for someone else?
El Juno was accused of banning anatsuno, but denied the charge.
Wankprophet broke through his ban, then banned himself again.
A lot of other stuff happened, including the sekrit banninator's repeated attempts to ban El Juno and Snacky's triumphant return. At the end of the day, Sepiamagpie unbanned everyone (except annabelle_lee) thereby ending banninategate.
