Quite possibly the most famous of all 90's Canadian cop drama/buddy comedy made-for-TV movie turned television series, Due South centered around the adventures of a Mountie, Benton Fraser (famous for his canonical willingness to stick absolutely anything in his mouth), and his wacky odd couple relationship with a Chicago cop. Unsurprisingly, the fanfiction centers around homosexual intercourse.

The fandom is largely wank-free today, and past disputes are only discussed in references to the "Ray Wars", a vicious and bloody affair whose exact details are lost in the internet's mists of time. We do know, however, that such debate was ended largely through the application of sensible Canadian threesomes.
