Fandom wank wiki talk:Policy

From Fandom wank wiki

Other mods, want to put up our banning/warning policy here? We've got a lot of it covered in What The Wiki Is And What The Wiki Isn't and in Help, but it probably couldn't hurt to state it outright. (I've learned to never underestimate the power of stupidity.)

The primary one is no spambots, second is no obvious trolling/vandalism, third is no minors, fourth... hmm, something on the order of no grudgewank/attempting to put up articles on people/topics never covered by FW or associated communities, maybe? --Mindset talk 21:22, 3 October 2007 (BST)

That's fine, though I'm tempted to call the article "Ways to get banned from the fandom_wank wiki." Our other policy, as stated in a couple of places-- but not clearly-- is that you have to be a fandom_wank member to edit articles (or, alternatively, you have to be really, really funny). -- Avocado 03:53, 5 October 2007 (BST)
Comment on the above - I am not a member of FW, I am just amused by drama in all its electronic splendor. I'm here because a) I enjoy FW and wish to see it preserved for future generations, and b) much of what you guys cover is highly specialized and wouldn't be fit with us.
Secondary comment, I think it is a good idea generally if you spell shit out ahead of time, though I don't think you guys will ever have the issues we have for obvious reasons. Anyway, just wanted to leave you some feedback from a different perspective. Heartiez! This user may contain spoilers ZOMG!Write yaoi for me. 19:52, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
