Fullmetal Alchemist, aka FMA, is a popular manga and anime series that follows the adventures of two teenage alchemists who toyed with the laws of God and Nature, and as a result their fleshy bits were absorbed into a big swirling mass of spoilers. Due to this, the younger brother is now a big honking suit of armor, while the older brother has a totally bitchin' robotic arm and matching leg. Together they fight crime! search for a way to restore their bodies to their original states... and fight crime!

It has all the hallmarks of a popular series -- appealing characters, an action-packed plot, and good design -- but like any other beloved property from Japan, it is also SERIOUS BUSINESS OMG. All the references to Kabbalah probably don't help.
