To learn some wiki editing tricks, try the Meta-Wiki editing help page. Note that not everything there will work on the FW Wiki, but it's a good general guide.

The little toolbar above the edit panel is pretty helpful, too. Something you might not notice, though, is the symbol, which will place your name and a timestamp on a discussion page. You can change the name it uses by editing the "Nickname" in your preferences.

For reference, your wiki mods are Avocado and Mindset. Most of the clever, funny entries here are thanks to them. You should listen to their wisdom and advice, and do not sass them. Other mods are Hugsnkisses and Snacky, but they are lazy and pleased to let Avocado and Mindset do most of the work. They do show up occasionally, so beware!

For all else, you're on your own. Check the Guides, jump in and mess around, but don't be put out if you find some of your changes reverted or edited more. Taking a look at the categories or the list of all the articles couldn't hurt either.
