Spinning off from the LiveJournal community spoil_me_dh, the its_a_fake community was created in response to the infamous carpet book purporting to be a leaked copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Suffice it to say that the creators of the community were highly dubious of the alleged spoilers, particularly the book's epilogue and its assertion that "all is well".
The title of the community should always be pronounced in a dramatic, yet hushed tone, as best demonstrated here.
Its_a_fake spent several days explaining to itself why the carpet book had to be fake until they slowly arrived at the inescapable conclusion that it is real!
