JournalFen, aka JF, is a journaling service for fen. Er, fans. (Specifically, media fans.) It uses the open-source LiveJournal code, which occasionally results in confused mice attempting to input their LJ names and passwords to comment, or the wanked attempting to take very stupid revenge.
A major distinction between LJ and JF is that JournalFen doesn't allow users under 18 years old. Also, the creation of free accounts is usually turned off.

Myths & Facts
- JF was not created to host Fandom Wank, but it did open slightly ahead of schedule as a favor to the then-homeless community.
- There's more to JF than FW & company. There's quite a few other communities, including several RPS RPGs, and of course personal journals.
