JKR lying about sick husband

November 9, 2005: JK Rowling does not attend the Goblet of Fire movie premiere when her husband Neil Murray is rushed to the hospital with appendicitis. On (the now defunct) hermionepotter.net, Caina wonders if JKR is lying about the illness to avoid enraged Harmonian fans. She also puts up a poll asking if people think Rowling's husband really is sick.

The original post is long-gone but quotes from it are preserved in the FW thread that came out of the wank report.
