LiveJournal, or LJ, is where most of the wank comes from.

• Fandom Wank got TOS'd from there for no stated reason, though possibly for "harassing" LJ users.

• FW policy says no linking to minors' journals, or posting of locked material, and it's also considered trolling to inform people they've been wanked.

• LJ runs on a (mostly) open-source platform, so there are lots of LJ-clone journaling systems out in the wilds of the internets. These include GreatestJournal, InsaneJournal, Blurty, CrazyLife, CommieJournal, and of course Fandom Wank's dear home, JournalFen. (This was news to at least one wanker.)

• LiveJournal was founded by brad, then bought by SixApart in 2005, and then sold to Russian media company SUP in late 2007. In Soviet Russia, new overlords welcome you!
