Locking, or friendslocking, is a journal security setting that means only your friends can see your post.

As FW cannot list locked posts or forums in its reports, this is a very safe way of getting your wank on without it ever really seeing the light of day.

Basically, it's best that you masturbate in private.

A few notes: Open posts have the chance of being screencapped before locking can occur, and links may be given to such screencaps. Also, if a locked community has open membership, people may join to read locked wanks. However, anyone who friends someone with the intention of finding locked wank will be soundly mocked, and not in a good way. (See: TheExhibitionist.)
