Platonic

"Platonic" comes from the philosopher Plato, who spoke about "perfect but not carnal love". So a platonic relationship has affection but NO SEX.

This concept was mentioned in several wanks by Harmonians who are either pissed off that JKR did not devote several chapters of HBP to wild monkey sex between Hermione and Harry, or who insist that the Harmony love is OMGSOPURE that they don't even NEED sex to make it complete (see The Colbert Report on Harmony) and thus Harry/Ginny is evil. Compare this to Teenage Pregnancy is so Romantic, and you can see why the Harmonians and Dan/Emma shippers engage in so much, er, wanking.
