RPS

"Real Person Slash", that is, fictional stories about real people (usually celebrities), involved in homosexual activities. A very wanky subject, for some reason.

The term is a subset of RPF - "Real Person Fiction", but it's usually RPS that all the shouting tends to be about.

A warning to fandom n00bs: RPS writers should be distinguished from tinhats. RPS writers do not believe their stories to be reality, so if you call them tinhats, don't expect positive reactions.
