Snacky's Law
From Fandom wank wiki
This page details a Jurisimprudence law.
A variation of Godwin's Law, first proposed by Snacky here:
- Whenever two (or more) groups of people are arguing, anywhere on the web* (usenet, mailing lists, message boards, blogs, etc.), inevitably, someone on one side of the argument (regardless of age or gender) will compare the group on the other side to "those bitchy girls who made everyone's life hell in high school."
- When this happens, if the person who made this comparison is validated with tales of "just how mean the bitchy girls were to ME in high school," the argument is over, and the side making the comparison has lost.
- If however, the other side responds with the EXACT SAME COMPARISON, both sides have lost, and the argument should be declared dead for all eternity.
- *I thought at first this law should be applicable only to Fandom arguments, but I've seen it happen on corners of the web, far, far away from Fandom, so it goes for every internet argument.
Having a law makes me feel all warm inside. I heard that's what inspired Godwin. -- Snacky

Corollaries
Much like Godwin's Law, people on jurisimprudence can't resist making their laws corollaries of Snacky's Law to horn in on her internet fame.
[edit]
Pink's Corollary
Proposed by gaisce here:
- So-named because of the event's here, that anyone who invokes Snacky's Law in an argument and then proceeds to add that something to the effect of "bitches like you made me glad to drop out of high school" shall summarily lose the argument and furthermore be mocked by random posts of English and algebra.
- Because, let's face it, even Mr. T knows it's not cool to drop out of school...you wanker.
[edit]
Varsity Corollary
Proposed by Feenix here in response to this wank:
- If one party in an argument/debate/wank compares another to "the jocks," said comparison shall be considered an invocation of Snacky's Law and as such all other corollaries apply.
[edit]
Cult of Nice Corollary
Proposed by Pyratejenni here
- After a spate of insisting on proving how nice one is among fans, an anonymous meme will appear within days and contain at least one hate thread.
