On being accused of not objecting when people broke Snacky's Law in HP discussions, Snacky said:

“ I was being silly one night, and thought it would be funny to make a law like Godwin's. It's about people arguing with each other online. It has nothing, NOTHING, to do with people being afraid of fucking Ginny Weasley or Pansy Parkinson. It has nothing to do with people who identify as "the Mean Girls" or "The Cult of Mean." It was simply me, identifying an argument that I saw people use all the time online. And it has nothing to do with HP fandom or the damn books. It actually came from all the flamewars I saw during my usenet days in the X-Files fandom.

Here, here's a new thing I made up. Call it Snacky's Prayer:

Lord, save me from these HP whackjobs with their plagiarizing and their victimization and their belief that "ships" are actually fucking boats and that Death Eaters are not racist, just kind of snobby, and their absolute and utter conviction that the world revolves around them and everyone should be catering to and kissing their asses.
