Squick

A "squick" is something that disturbs at a personal gut level, often but not always in regards to sex. The term was created in the early 90s to define the sound of skullfucking (a very squicky subject). It was adopted by the BDSM community, and later slash and fanfic communities, to refer to kinks that are ok but not your kink.
It's considered part of fandom etiquette to warn for squicks, and not include them when writing fic by request. But some wankers think squicks make great gifts!
