Future Titles
I was thinking we should have a list of possible titles to tap when the updates are fast and furious. Please suggest them here.
- The Last Crusade
- At World's End
- A Very Wanky Sequel
- Apocalypse
- Revolutions
There's also "Son of," "Revenge of," etc. Obviously, some of them are more appropriate for certain times than others.Miraba 05:25, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- What, no Electric Boogaloo? Or have we passed that already? --Drakyndra 06:17, 13 January 2008 (UTC) (originally unsigned, signature added by Mindset)
- That was used with Strikethrough and I don't want to cause confusion. Miraba 06:26, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'll concede the point. On that note, we appear to have another update on the matter on FW. --Drakyndra 06:39, 13 January 2008 (UTC) (originally unsigned, signature added by Mindset)
- I started the list because I wasn't sure what to name the most recent post. Maybe something based off of Legally Blonde? Miraba 06:57, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia, as always, has some handy-dandy lists for subtitling purposes: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] and if you want to get adventurous, you can explore the links off of this article or this one. --Mindset talk 00:45, 16 April 2008 (BST)
The article could use more detail, but I'm going to beg you not to expand each and every wank report into its own section. If you want to add a brief timeline of major events in the case, then fine, but there are too many wank reports to go into this level of detail. -- Avocado 22:21, 1 June 2008 (BST)
- I think we should toss the description of the second wank report and find some way of adding in notable events (whatever those would be) under the correct wank report (but limited to one sentence). Miraba 01:11, 2 June 2008 (BST)
- Personally, I'd like to see each wank report be split off into a separate article providing highlights of each. This is far too huge to limit to a mere list of links or even a single article. And yeah, there's too many wank reports, but that just makes this topic especially convoluted and in need of sorting out on the wiki. --Jim Smith 04:05, 2 June 2008 (BST)
- I fundamentally disagree. If there's really a driving need for the wiki to help people digest this wank, then writing separate articles about each wank report (or even putting each into its own section) is going to turn the wiki into the same TL;DR mess that reading through the wank reports in order already is. That's because the "wank reports" were just an arbitrary method Cleo used to break up content-- this is a single long wank. I don't want to do that, because I don't see how that helps anyone understand the wank.
- I think it is possible to limit this to a single article, if you really work on summarizing it into a coherent whole. -- Avocado 05:31, 2 June 2008 (BST)
2nd wank report section
Anyone mind if we delete this? I'm still not fond of more than one description (why 2? why not 3?) and it honestly doesn't add anything. All that we really need to keep is the RDR quote, and before we were fine with just having it at the bottom of the page in with the quotes. Miraba 04:32, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- I believe the thought was that each wank report should get a brief summary, so that one would not have to go to every single report to find out what happened in each one. (As was done with the Ms. Scribe Story.) To be honest, and no offense to Cleo, but the later reports tend to be a huge list of links themselves where you have to click to find out what each link is referring to. So a summary really is needed -- but the trick here is brief, so not to be (a) FW, (b) boring, or (c) too freaking huge. --Mindset talk 02:46, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- And in addition, to correspond with what Avocado said above, each report itself doesn't necessarily need a summary... but there should be something that hits the highlights... Not sure how it should be organized, though, if not by report. By month? Quarterly? --Mindset talk 02:48, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- How about a timeline like earlier in the article? Miraba 03:56, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
