Talk:Millyfan

From Fandom wank wiki

I was very stupid and wanky back then, but I would like to add that a few wanks do seem a bit grudgy. I mean, if I was involved in something and then wanked it, or had my friends wank it, I'd be eaten alive. Why doesn't that apply to everyone?

Oh and I'd also like to add that I no longer have the view on original characters I did in the first wank there, nor do I take Mary Sue tests seriously except as a guideline for writers in the early stages of character development. --Tsuzukilove 01:06, 13 July 2006 (BST)

Well, the wiki is fairly non-grudgy in itself, regardless of the wanks that are meta-commented in it. There were wanks in which you were featured, you have an article, therefore they're linked. (The wanks themselves I won't comment on - I never paid much attention to anime or video game wanks.) If you want, you can fill in the article a bit, though I'd avoid being defensive or over-explanatory about past activities. If you want to see an example of another wanked person turned regular wanka, take a look at Narcissam's - she wrote it herself, even. Heck, she wrote up most of the wanks she's featured in, and wasn't sparing of her wankery. So if you can do similar, go to it. If you can't... you can leave 'em as is. Vanceone-style edits and reverts may be amusing, but it's not like they're encouraged. :) --Mindset 05:30, 13 July 2006 (BST)
OK, you know, when I link to Vanceone? That's an encouragement to read it. Including the bits where he edited articles to declare himself and Harmony the source of all evil, and how that was reverted as well. Pity-edits are even less amusing than puff-edits. (I shouldn't have said "not sparing", I really shouldn't...) I hope we can happy-medium this article, but I'm also an optimist. --Mindset 16:02, 13 July 2006 (BST)
Maybe what would work better is to have a separate page for Tszukilove? You know, that could be her "wanka" not her "wanker" page, and let her edit it as she sees fit? She'll probably edit it full of justifications for her wanky behavior, and then we can mock that as well. If she doesn't, good for her. Either way, it can be a win-win situation.  :-) --Snacky 16:19, 13 July 2006 (BST)
Nevermind, I see she already has that page. So Millyfan/Tszukilove, use that page to list and detail your non-wanky behaviors.--Snacky 16:24, 13 July 2006 (BST)
Whining about grudgewanks and how "it's not fair!" does not help your case of "I WAS WANKY THEN, BUT I'M NOT NOW!" You were being a huge wanker, it was reported to F_W and it's been noted on the wiki. You don't want to be thought of as wanky anymore? Honestly, the only way that's going to change is if you stop acting wanky. Good luck with that.--Snacky 15:37, 13 July 2006 (BST)

If you don't mind, I am removing the link to my new LJ. I have done nothing to deserve this (the peacemaking post on ffrants was just that, a peacemaking post, NOT an attempt to get attention for myself), and I wanted to start over again in fandom without all the bad blood attached to my old name. Please allow me to remove it, because it is causing people to personally dislike me and refuse to read my fandom postings for a past I cannot fix.--Tsuzukilove 09:04, 9 September 2006 (BST)

Hey, that's great and all, but you might want to note that you put the entirety of your new content for your Tsuzukilove page on the Tsuzukilove talk page. Did you want to fix that, or did you want it that way for some reason? (Oh, and BTW, the edit history on the Tsuzukilove page is really not doing you any favors on the "I'm not being wanky anymore, I swear!" front. Just sayin'.) --puipui 10:18, 10 September 2006 (BST)
Yeah, I do want to fix that. I'm really not very good at wiki format stuff. Also, I'd like to remove the edit history to start fresh, is there a way to do that? Because I really am tired of being seen as a wanker and being trolled and boycotted due to it, and I'd really like a fresh start, especially since I'm not doing anything to fight with or bother anyone.--Tsuzukilove 02:12, 11 September 2006 (BST)
Also, I'd like to remove the edit history to start fresh, is there a way to do that?
Nope. Just avoid being wanky. We're easily distracted by shiny new things. -- Avocado 05:06, 11 September 2006 (BST)

To be honest, you haven't been trying to start fights with me lately. Whenever you've run into me at ffrants, you've (except for one incident I can think off off-hand) been pretty polite. If you can keep up that politeness (and this means not being condesending and not bringing up old sores) you might be able to win back a little cred. My advice, though, is not to expect FW, or any large faction of fandom or group of people to like you. Find a few friends who really care about you and be happy, and don't try to suck up to the rest. Proclaimations of starting afresh mean nothing if you don't actually do it. __ Shadsie (who does browse the FW wiki from time to time).

Note to mods: Yes, Millyfan is a wanker nonpareil, but this article seems to attract the wrong kind of editors. Should this article be protected or what? --Mindset talk 21:04, 19 June 2007 (BST)

I don't know. Haven't we only had one problem editor on this article so far? (And a spambot, of course, which we have in aplenty.) The main trolling was on her TL;DR user page, and we haven't had issues with that in months. If it becomes irritating, I'd go ahead and lock it, but, unless I'm missing something, I don't see a reason to yet. -- Avocado 00:21, 20 June 2007 (BST)
Hmm, you're right, I was mixing up that and the user page. Yeah, leaving it alone for now is fine. --Mindset talk 01:38, 20 June 2007 (BST)

In case anyone was interested, "average male bullheadedness" has to do with the fact that Millyfan is now a tranny, as I found here. Though it's probably come up before, and I just didn't notice. Huh. --DrWorm 03:41, 27 June 2007 (BST)

Hmm, I think we'll wait until the next wank and/or hir request before changing the pronouns. --Mindset talk 18:07, 27 June 2007 (BST)
(Why do I keep "hmm"ing on this page? sigh...) --Mindset talk 18:08, 27 June 2007 (BST)
