May 31, 2006: Comic book writer Peter David takes offense at a messageboard post wherein John Byrne criticizes his work. In his blog, David notes Byrne's hypocrisy, and much Byrne bashing commences in the comments.
Then, "Madman" Mike O'Brien shows up to defend Byrne's work. Things really start getting wacky once Madman Mike relates that a number of bookstores and comic book stores harbor a secret agenda against Byrne and his work.
