The Law of Diminishing Dramatic Exits

From Fandom wank wiki

This page details a Jurisimprudence law.

Proposed here by Sagralisse

In an online argument, dramatic exit statements such as "Believe what you want, I'm through arguing with you," "Signing off," or "Gotta run! I'm late for my flight to Paris!" are beneficial only if the poster actually leaves the argument. The credibility of the poster diminishes by 30% with each follow-on reply. Further declarations that the poster is leaving right now will double the effect.
