MB is known as m_butterfly on JournalFen and LJ, which in turn are both supposed to be short for Milkshake Butterfly, which is the kind of username you end up stuck with if you go signing up for popular things at 3 AM when you've had too much sugar. While relatively new to Fandom Wank, MB is ancient in the ways of cynicism, a fact that nonetheless doesn't seem to be stopping her from repeatedly beating her head against walls, or at least trying to talk some version of sense to fandom, although wiser heads recognize that these are essentially the same action. Due to the aforementioned wall-beating, sometimes MB slips from the path of sanity and goes into frothing rage mode herself. Don't worry--she's aware of it, and she does have medication (well, she has chocolate, which is the same thing when it comes to this sort of stuff).
If you stumble across an MB in the wild, approach with caution. While normally fairly intelligent and not particularly savage, mentioning certain topics--most of them associated with House and House fandom--can set off a series of fits for which even the MB may feel bad for later.
MB enjoys snark, writing haikus, the color purple, and making long comments of the multi-part kind that sometimes give the impression that she is attempting to compete with JennyO for the Queen of tl;dr, though a nagging persistance in attempting to provide some content in her statements and a deep-seated hatred of academic-speak suggest Jenny shouldn't be worrying about her crown any time soon.
