Sparkly text CSS class

If you'll take a look at Talk:Sparkle text, you'll see that we ordinary users can't do anything to make true sparkly text, and have to fake it by displacing one DIV on top of another using relative positioning, since Mediawiki appears to strip out "background: url(...)" from the "style" attribute. I think that we could get around this if a CSS class which did "background: url(sparkles)" was put into MediaWiki:Standard.css, but that page is protected from being edited by ordinary users. So it'd be cool if, when you have some time, you could put a sparkle CSS class there. Thanks -- Khym Chanur 04:38, 5 December 2005 (GMT)

Eh, I was about to get mad (and I can see why you'd be) but since I missed the whole thing (Paris, darling) I just laughed at it instead. Apparently there's a whole black community against us? Black chix against FW? WTFLOLZ

Next time just remember: this is a wiki **to amuse us**. By us, for us. If it's biased, so what? Go to wikipedia for your balanced research, we just want a laugh. And non-FW members? Aren't allowed. Suggestion

I'm not quite sure where I should put this, but oh well, you're the Bureaucrat, so... have you considered upgrading the wiki to 1.9.x? There are some extensions that could work really well here too, like Cite. Ah, whatever, I'm just a MediaWiki geek with far too much free time.
