- Tsuzukilove, honestly, what? I really don't know what Snacky gets up to in her spare time, but I don't think trolling is it. For future reference, it's not one of my hobbies, either. If I'm ever going to rip into you, it'll be under my own name, thank you, and I'd think my series of posts on Bad_Penny would have been indicative of that. Just clearing a couple of things up.
Hidy there, just read the page and felt the need to clear a couple of things up.
The Fifth Wank: Um, you have a couple of things wrong there that I feel need editing. Of course, both our memories could be fuzzy, so I'll understand if you don't edit, I just want to get the word out here.
First, in my recollection, I did not ask you to read Moon Child. I think I may have asked a mutual friend too, because I thought it was the kind of fic she'd like. If I remember correctly, I specifically asked you to stay away from said fic, because I knew it was something that you would not like because it was abundant in original characters (and I understood how much you were against that). In your defense, I did gush a lot on that fic back then, but I do recall asking you not to read it.
Second, I did not ask you on AIM to post it to GAFF. At least, I do not remmber. I think what happened was a micomunication - I AIMed a mutual friend bitching about what my nephew had told me about your snarking it with your little friends, and I think they AIMed you or left some message on your LJ or something.
There was some miscomunication happening, and I admit, it was partly my fault. Still, I think what got to me were the personal attacks on my fiance (not his fic, the personal insults that got lobbed about), and the attitude of "Hey, look at me! I'm doing this to show I don't have to suck up to Shadsie!" -- Perhaps all your "sucking up" was part of the reason why I decided not to be friends with you anymore. Believe it or not, I do prefer honesty.
The systematic flaming of the story each time it was revised and reposted did not help you to look less wanky, either.
Actually I've wanted to apologize for the way I broke up the friendship for a long time. I did some very wanky things (the public defriending and all), and I am deeply sorry for that. And, it wasn't all about the yaoi. Yes, I did want you to get friends with similar interests to yourself so that you would stop trying to share with me something I had no ineterest in (and, I admit, a prejudice against), but it was mostly matters of a personal nature, a loss of mutual respect I was feeling between us, which were much more serious issues. So, you are right in saying that the things leading up to the friendship breakup were mostly AIM and behind-the-scenes.
Sad luck on the trolls. I've been watching them. I think they're retarded. For one thing, they are woefully uncreative. While I do think they may be Fandom Wank related, certainly not the mods. They're more creative than what those two are doing. I'd look to some of the anyonymice, particularly the idiots who'd follow us around whenever we wanked to post announcements on our LJs of "You've been wanked!" (BTW, am I even *doing* this right?) I've never used Wiki like this before.
