Chocolate-covered Snax

Chocolate Pudding Snackycake
- devils food cake mix (an "ultramoist" kind is good, but you don't need one with pudding in the mix)
- chocolate pudding mix (not instant - the kind you have to cook)
- milk (to cook the pudding)
- one package chocolate chips (preferably Nestle's)
Also, a 9 x 13 baking pan.
First, butter and flour the cake pan, and preheat the oven to the temp on the cake mix box (usually 350 F, but can vary by different brands). Then cook the pudding according to package directions. When pudding is done, stir it into the cake mix. This is all you're going to mix in - you don't need the egg or the oil or whatever else it tells you on the cake mix box.
Pour the mixture into the 9 x 13 pan, and spread it so it's even. Then sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Okay, "sprinkle" is kind of delicate - you want to pour them on, but just make sure they're spread evenly over the top. Get as much of the package on as you can, but make sure they're just on top - you don't want to push them down.
Then bake for the time on the cake mix box. It's very moist, so the whole insert-toothpick-to-test-for-doneness thing doesn't work that well. Just go by the time. It's delicious when it's still warm and the chocolate chips are melty. You can add whipped cream or vanilla icecream, but that's almost overkill with this cake, it's so rich.
